AsthmeTrack

Privacy Policy

1. Who are we?

AsthmeTrack is a mobile application developed personally for asthma monitoring (peak flow, oximetry, Easyhaler usage). It is not operated by a commercial company.

2. Data collected

The application only records the data you enter yourself:

• Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) measurements
• Pulse Oximetry (SpO₂)
• Number of Easyhaler uses per day
• Free comments
• Date and time of measurements

✕ No identification data (name, email, phone)
✕ No location data
✕ No navigation or usage data
✕ No advertising identifier

3. Data storage

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device, in the application's private memory. It never leaves your phone without your explicit consent.

If you activate Google Drive synchronization (optional):

• Your data is backed up in your own personal Google Drive space, in a private folder accessible only by AsthmeTrack (appDataFolder).
• AsthmeTrack has no access to your Google Drive or your data.
• The connection uses the OAuth 2.0 protocol with PKCE — no password is ever transmitted to the application.
• You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Data sharing

✓ No data shared with third parties.
✓ No data sold.
✓ No data transmitted to external servers.
✓ No data used for advertising purposes.

5. Advertising and analytics

AsthmeTrack does not contain any advertising and does not integrate any analysis or tracking tools (no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no third-party SDKs).

6. Android permissions used

• INTERNET — only for Google Drive synchronization and OAuth authentication (if enabled).
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — for Easyhaler usage reminders (if configured).
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to schedule reminders at the exact time.

7. Health data

AsthmeTrack processes health data (PEF, SpO₂). This data is considered sensitive. In accordance with the GDPR, it is processed based on your explicit consent (you enter it yourself) and is stored exclusively under your control.

AsthmeTrack is a personal monitoring tool and does not constitute a certified medical device. It does not replace professional medical advice.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — all your data is visible in the application.
• Rectification — you can modify each measurement via the ✏️ button.
• Deletion — you can delete measurements individually or clear all data from Settings.
• Portability — you can export your data in CSV format from the history.

9. Data retention

Your data is kept as long as the application is installed on your device or until you delete it manually. Uninstalling the application deletes all local data.

10. Changes to this policy

In case of modification of this policy, the update date will be modified at the top of this page. Significant changes will be signaled in the application's update notes.
