Privacy Policy

Summary: CVGenerator processes your profile and job description only to generate your CV, via the Anthropic API or Google Vertex AI. This data is never stored on our servers. Only your API key is stored locally on your device.

1. Who we are

CVGenerator is an AI-assisted CV generation mobile application for Android, developed privately. It is not operated by a commercial entity. App Identifier: com.stellasecret.cvgenerator.

2. Processed Data

CVGenerator processes only the data you voluntarily provide to generate your CV:

Your Profile: text imported from a file (PDF, DOCX, TXT…) or entered manually.
Job Description: text imported or pasted, describing the targeted job offer.

This data is transmitted only once, at the user's explicit request, to the chosen AI API, then immediately discarded. It is never saved on a server operated by CVGenerator.

3. Third-party AI Services

Depending on the mode selected, CVGenerator transmits your data to one of the following:

Anthropic API (Claude): Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Google Vertex AI: Subject to Google Cloud's privacy policy.

We recommend not including sensitive information (social security numbers, bank details, health data) in your profile.

4. Data stored locally on your device

CVGenerator stores the following only on your device, via Android DataStore:

Your Anthropic API key (if you enter one) — stored locally, never transmitted to our servers.

✓ No history of generated CVs is kept.
✓ Your profile and job description are never saved between sessions.
✓ Uninstalling erases all local data.

5. Advertising and Analytics

CVGenerator contains no advertising and integrates no analysis or tracking tools.

6. Android Permissions

INTERNET — necessary to call the AI API and for Google authentication.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_* — necessary to read files (PDF, DOCX, TXT…) you choose to import.
