Privacy Policy

Summary: People Modeler stores all your data locally on your device, with no server, no mandatory account, and no tracking. Google Drive synchronization is entirely optional and under your exclusive control.

1. Who we are

People Modeler is a behavioral modeling mobile application, developed privately. It is not operated by a commercial entity. App Identifier: com.peoplemodeler.

2. Data Collection

People Modeler does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers — we do not have any. The profile cards, motivations, biases, predictions, and notes you create remain on your device.

✕ No navigation or usage data transmitted
✕ No advertising identifier
✕ No biometric or health data
✕ No remote server receives your profiles

3. Local Data Storage

All your data — profile cards, motivations, cognitive biases, OCEAN profiles, predictions, and results — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device via Android Room. This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly enable Google Drive synchronization (see section 4).

✓ No remote database associated with the application.
✓ Uninstalling deletes all local data.

4. Google Drive Sync (optional)

People Modeler offers an optional backup feature via your personal Google account. This feature is inactive by default and only activates if you explicitly connect with your Google account.

When you enable synchronization:

Data is backed up in your personal Google Drive's private App Data folder — an area inaccessible to other applications and not visible in the standard Drive interface.
Only your Google account email address is used to identify the session. It is stored locally on your device only.
Synchronization uses the OAuth drive.appdata scope — the most restricted permission level.
You can sign out at any time from the app's Drive tab, which immediately deletes the local session.
You can delete your Drive data at any time via Google Account → Third-party apps.

5. Third-party Services

Excluding optional Google Drive sync, People Modeler uses no third-party services: no external API, no CDN, no analytical SDK, no crash reporting.

6. Advertising and Analytics

People Modeler contains no advertising and integrates no analysis or tracking tools.

7. Android Permissions

INTERNET — required for optional Google Drive sync and loading the web version.
Google Account (GET_ACCOUNTS) — used only if you enable Drive sync. No access to other accounts or emails.
